Designer Furniture Delivery
We are a designer delivery service that receives, warehouses, and delivers fine
furnishings. We touch up, assemble, install furniture, lay rugs, hang art and
mirrors, always working closely with the interior designer.
The range of furniture we receive includes Bassett,
Stanley, Baker, Kindel, Hendredon, Minton-Spidell, Guy Chaddock, so therefore
the quality varies widely. Although we are not quality control for the
factories, we do mention poor quality goods when noticed. There is an in-house
touch up man should any item arrive freight damaged. Our office provides daily
receiving and up to the minute status reports on your projects.
Warehousing
At our twenty
thousand (20,000) square foot warehouse in Palm Beach County, we currently have
a staff of seventeen (17) employees covered under Workman's Compensation, Social
Security and Unemployment Insurance. We mention this because many Florida
businesses employ 1099 sub-contractors. The businesses that use 1099'ers do not
provide Workman's Compensation Insurance nor do they pay any taxes for these
employees, leaving possible adverse insurance or tax situations for anyone
contracting with these companies. Our insurance policies include warehouseman's
legal, in transit coverage, as well as general liability coverage.
