History
Our company originated in the Washington D.C. area. The name Prosperi has been
associated with the interior design world in Washington D.C. since the 1940's.
We started out as furniture finishers. We repaired and touched-up freight
damaged pieces to the extent that a number of designers we did finishing for,
asked us to become their receivers.
In the
1970's, Washingtonians asked if we could provide a van line service to South
Florida for them. We went ahead, became an I.C.C. motor carrier, and met the
stringent insurance requirements and DOT regulations needed to operate in any
state in the country. We opened an office in Florida in 1988 to service the
SouthFlorida area.
Our Mission
Prosperi Company is an industry partner of the American Society of Interior
Designers (ASID), which demands the highest integrity and standards from its
members. We are a designer delivery service that receives, warehouses, and
delivers fine furnishings. We touch up, assemble, install furniture, lay rugs,
hang art and mirrors, always working closely with the interior designer.
